Interview with ex banker turned author Sesha
So let me extend a warm welcome to Mr. Sesha on this webcast. And to start off, I would request him to tell us something about his journey as an author from a banker
Hello Meera. Thank you so much for your introduction. And regarding my journey from a bank officer to an author, what I would say is actually the journey. One journey has stopped and another journey has started. As we. We all know, life itself is a journey. There are various stages like our growing up, reaching adulthood, completing education, getting gainfully employed, setting into your family routine, raising children, so on and so forth with some differences. And these changes
I would say it is something that should be read by the adolescent to someone from the age of, say, adolescents like 13 years to 25 years. Though anybody can read it. But it would be really helpful for that age group. That is the time when we have lot of confusions, questions regarding our religion, religious practices and all those things. Now, coming to the second question, see, krishna's story is something that every hindu child will hear from their childhood

And I tried to put some information which I could gather from my reading so that to make this book a little more exhaustive for the people who read it for the first time, and they get introduced to most of the characters in the epics, and this should kindle the interest in these epics
Ah, thank you sir for that detailed reply. Yeah, I agree. The book is for everyone to read and find their own truth. And it's a bold step taken by you to present the much known story in this format as definitely a risk is associated with it as people are so used to the story that they will think what is new in this book only when they take and read it, they understand that it's a remarkably different and well researched work
If we go through their life, we get lot of life lessons. How they have dealt with problems, how they rose from difficult situation. A lot of it are there. So you have read Bhagavatam Ram. I hope you have read Ramayana, also Mahabharata and other Puranas. So what are your thoughts on taking Ram and Krishna and other Hindu gods outside the realm of religion?
As far as these Epics are concerned. There are lot of philosophical insights also, including the famous Bhagavad Gita. And all these messages are independent of following any religion. And certainly this reading of these epics would strengthen the character of the individuals. And actually, it would clear some of their confusions on how to follow the Path of Dharma in the life without getting attracted or distracted by various other illusory attractions of life. Thank yOu
So that aspect needs to people has to understand that like many people see a character in isolation than the story. So that happens. So you have to read multiple times. And I feel your book Naimisha is a good starting point for people who like to question the epics because they will get a journey through animation where the truth will be revealed logically. Something that satisfies your intellectual brain. So once again, thank you sir for being my guest and sharing valuable insights with our listeners here
