Thank you for having me here. Meera thank you for the warm welcome. It's a pleasure to receive an invite from you and have an opportunity to share my work with Swell on this well app via you. Thank you so much. So I started writing. I'm working as a full time copywriter, and I've worked for various brands. It was a natural creative extension for me to write from nonfiction to move to fiction. So that is how I started writing

That's great to know, ma'am, that you have dabbled in both jenners. That is, as a copywriter you have been writing non fiction, and as a fiction writer, you have dabbled in thriller jenner. So interestingly, both of your published works are in thriller jenner. And you have clearly mentioned that you wanted to make a mark in the thriller generation. So let the listeners know what attracts you to this generation? What is so special about this genre

So for me it was like even my readers would associate more with this journal and as a reader, if I enjoyed this, maybe as a writer also I will enjoy this. So that is how I began with I picked it, it happened to me naturally. Yes, both my books are in the thriller journal and yes, you are absolutely like that. It has got the hint of the stories of romantic fiction. You can call it like a romantic suspense as well

Absolutely right. Ma'am that you write what you read, what you are interested in. You try to create your own thing in that genre. Because one thing is that you will compare portable in that area, as you have read a lot in that. Jenna and second is that you feel that you can connect more with the audience who love the genre as you are so connected to the meera. You can write it better, you can imagine it better, you can create it better

Again, even if it is a nonfiction writing, it is a creative writing. So that, again, gives me a platform, gives me a voice, gives me a platform to write the way, though, it is like writing a brand story and writing from the client's point of view, but still, it gives a lot of scope of writing things creatively. So I think it has been like a practice pitch for me

That's a very nice thought to think of your copywriting for an ad agency as a brand story. So that area also helps you to explore creativity and you take it as a different form of creative content writing. And that's really nice to know that's how you work. On one side, you write the story which your client wants, and on the other side, you create your own stories the way you want. That's a really amazing way of expressing two different types of content

I think for every writer it is very important to see the story what they want to irrespective of the journal it's very important for them to find their own voice and then come to the story of it. So first I think you have to identify the things they enjoy and then write according to the kind of genre they enjoy and then probably start writing from that point of view, keeping themselves in the place of a reader
