When Your Parents Become Your Children

She doesn't want me to have to take care of her. I'm her only child. Though she actually told me once. Well, I'm not sure if she told me. She may have told somebody. My aunt. And then my aunt told me. But anyhow, she told me that when she knew she was dying, she just planned on going out into the woods and dying like an animal so that I wouldn't be able to find her

So it's just I happen to have a very open thousand foot view mind, like a very big picture mind that I could kind of lay out a lot of maybe the psychological or subconscious traumas that are coming up and surfacing for them and try to help them move through it. And they would feel good about it. And like I said, they wouldn't integrate or move through. And because they wouldn't do that, they would come back around again. Right. Things do

I didn't really understand that too much growing up, but I get it now, especially having my own child and having to Ty to heal from my own trauma. It's kind of come full circle, so to speak. But I'm glad you could relate in a way, and I'm glad that your parents worked things out and that you were able to be there for them. I think that's wonderful. And while I don't know, I don't know that it's so healthy
