Worry weakens your stomach, which directly affects how well your body can fight certain diseases. As we all know, the stomach is the first line of defense against disease or infection. Stress weakens your heart and brain through high amounts of cortisol and adrenaline within the blood. Fear weakens your kidneys, which affects how well your body can dispose of waste that it no longer needs inside

Hi. This title, Emotional Organs, really caught my eye. I'm a teaching artist, and I do a lot of social emotional learning with my students. And this, well, just really reminded me of how important this work is. Not only for your mental wellness and to learn how to even name and work through your emotions, but that by doing that, you're also helping your internal organs. So thank you for this reminder

I feel like doctors are so quick to say, like, oh, you have a stomach gig. Like, let's give you drugs, or whatever it is, rather than like, okay, well, let's talk about if you're feeling any fear or any worry inquiry with what you said

Because I recommended it to my mother as soon as he passed. And she was like, no. And she was like, no, but I'm fine. And they were like, you're not fine. You really need to go see someone. And so she found someone and was able to kind of start to talk and process the loss of her husband, my father

Hi. Thank you for replying. Sorry about the late reply. I've just been so caught up in my work with school and also Juggling trying to come up with new ideas for the podcast. But I do go to school in the US on the East Coast, and for the most part, I do a lot of off topic greeting pertaining to medicine

Because mind and body are one and a lot of people don't understand that statement when it is said. But thank you for explaining so thoroughly to your students on why they might feel one way today and feel another way tomorrow, or why they're having a stomach aches today and they don't have it tomorrow because they might have been worrying about something the day before. So you're doing great work and keep doing it. I appreciate you

And like you said, it's a very interesting dynamic to see her start that healing process, not from like physical therapy alone, but from the counseling, grief counseling. Very interesting dynamic indeed. Thank you for replying again and I will try my hardest to reply to you guys and all the comments as soon as possible, as soon as I see them. But have a good one. Bye
