We Both Know by Melody Jones

article image placeholderUploaded by @MelodyJones
You. Hello, this is Melody with nonchalant poetry. This piece is titled we Both Know I know you're going. Your path is new, your path unforged, filled with a slew of rocks and ruts and uneven terrain. I know I don't have to really explain I'll not sink behind here in the fog of anguish and regret and the chafe of the slog through the decay of old and tired and worn I remind you patiently you've already sworn to take my hand and scrape me through

I like how eerie and, like, kind of moody that was. And I'm not just saying that because of the picture that you attached, but yeah, it was very visceral, very rich, and I really like the scraped me through. I really like that phrase a lot. Thank you for sharing

You're. Thank you so much for the reply on that piece. That was at a time when I was leaving or had left a marriage and was looking forward with somebody I had known for a really long time, and that's what it felt like. So I just appreciate you taking the time to give some feedback on that. Thanks so much
