TV and movies as poetic and creative inspiration

article image placeholderUploaded by @MelodyJones
Hello. This is Melody Jones with Nonchalant Poetry. It's been a little while since I've been on swell. Today I was thinking about what gives us inspiration for writing, especially poetry, but any kind of writing. And because I am a TV show watcher and a movie watcher, I find inspiration in different phrases and sentences that I hear during shows. And so I write those down

I like what you were saying and how there are certain lines from TV shows or movies that really you write them down because they really intrigue you or they really stop you to flow in your creative poetry writing or writing. So absolutely those things are really neat because sometimes what people say and the scripts that they write or what have you, there's some interesting lines in them and some of them just linger because they're just so good, they're just such a great phrase or line or what have you

It's. Well, hey, thank you for a really thorough and well thought out answer. It was definitely beyond, far beyond where I was thinking tonight. I was just being more simple about inspiration from an everyday thing like just watching a TV show. And I love everything you've gone into as far as what can be an inspiration. Definitely other people's poetry and other writing can do it, for sure. I was recently involved. Well, I wasn't involved
