And then you'll think that, oh, I want this, but I never enrolled myself into this kind of lottery or I never purchased a lottery ticket. Then how did I win this? But do keep in mind that the person on the other side has a very strong persuasion technique. They will try their level best to persuade you that this process and this technique is real. So they can come up with some random reason

It's not as crazy as this Chinese Lady sending you random messages saying, hey, I'm a tourist and you're supposed to be my guide. I got this number from so and so, and then they tried to scam me. For some reason, I have never fallen for this. I'm just curious. Like, has anyone actually fallen for that bullshit? I don't know that
Hi Manalika, thank you so much for enlightening me about these scams. I remember there was a particular scam in my dad's office where somebody was pretending to be someone in a position of authority in his company and basically giving orders to a bunch of junior employees to send money because he is going through some kind of financial emergency. And it's interesting the lengths that these people will go to to extract some money out of you, even if it is just that one time
