Hello, everyone. So let me ask you something. Does marriage triumph, live in relationships, or is it the other way around for millennials? Well, if you don't know the answer, then join me tomorrow at 07:00 p.m. Sharp and listen to my conversation with Mrs. Adity Jindal, writer, traveler, and a cold coffee addict. Precisely in that order. Adity Jindal's love for the written world had her dabbling in storytelling. Do I not marry?

Q1. In conversation with Aditi Jindal #authorinterview #swellinterview #indiaspotlight @AuthorAditi

Hello. Alright, ma'am. So my first question for you would be related to your own personal life. So, as I know that you are a writer and a mother as well. So I am pretty sure that balancing these two roles can be really challenging at most of the times. So how do you manage these aspects of your life while staying creative?

@Manalika

You. I think being a mother, in fact, probably helps you staying creative, because children are like, you know, it's a bounty full of creativity that you get from them, and that is something that really helps you stay on your creative edge and be at the top of your game. So I never really felt that it was difficult. It could be challenging in terms of managing your time

Q2. In conversation with Aditi Jindal #authorinterview #swellinterview #indiaspotlight @AuthorAditi

So I can definitely understand that being a mother might have gotten a lot of inspiration from your daughter. And you said that your daughter is an avid reader, so which clearly means that literature and creativity basically prospers in your family. And I absolutely love it. So, ma'am, my next question for you would be your title. The title of your book, do I not marry? Suggests a question and an uncertainty

@Manalika

When you should get married to whether or not you should get married. So how times have changed in the last couple of decades. My title precisely suggests and hits that point, which is at a point, and I think it could be. It's not age centric. At any given point in time, when you decide to marry, when you feel that you found the one you want to spend the life with, are you really ready for it?

Q3. In conversation with Aditi Jindal #authorinterview #swellinterview #indiaspotlight @AuthorAditi

Hello. Yes, ma'am. I have indeed seen this transition. So I am a literature student. So when I was in my college, when I was doing graduation, I opted for philosophy as my elective language. And in philosophy, they used to have conversations regarding feminism. So there was a topic called feminism. And the concept of marriage was talked upon. And similar topics regarding two, three perspectives. Case studies of women

I mean, marriage will not change anything for them. So I was very clear that I want to establish an equilibrium where I say that marriages are good, so live in relationships aren't bad either, and vice versa. Which is why I think when I was developing these characters, both the characters embody a different section of women, but a larger group of voice to each section

Q4. In conversation with Aditi Jindal #authorinterview #swellinterview #indiaspotlight @AuthorAditi

So I'm really glad that you are talking about it and talking about the larger picture, ma'am. I wanted to know a little bit more about your observation or your inspiration or like your experiences. So were there any personal experiences or anecdotes that influenced your exploration of this theme, or did you draw any inspiration from the broader cycle observations?

@Manalika

Yes, I agree to that manalika. So let me put it this way, that if you are in the ecosystem of a writer, you end up being a character in the book. And I think it probably is true for most of the writers. So a lot of supporting cast in the book, in the novel, do I not marry emanates from my experience differences, my observations

Q5. In conversation with Aditi Jindal #authorinterview #swellinterview #indiaspotlight @AuthorAditi

Yes, ma'am, I'm absolutely going to read it. And you know, ma'am, people say that don't judge a book by its cover, like the title, because you don't know what is inside the book. But I tend to believe that you do judge a book by its cover. If I am a person, I go to a bookstore and I see a book with a very intriguing title and a very beautiful cover

I'm happily married. Oh, I'm in a very cool live in relationship. You need to work and the work has to be an everyday work in progress. So that's the idea and that's the discourse. Largely that I want to give to this book, through this book is that, you know, live in relationships. Marriages are just different paths you choose, but make sure you choose it wisely whenever you do. Thank you so much. It was lovely talking to you, Manalika
