What political party do witches belong to?

article image placeholderUploaded by @magickandmedium
Since when did our spiritual perspectives become our politics? I know in a lot of ways it seems as if these are synonymous. Of course, if you are a Christian, you don't believe in abortion. Abortion? Because that goes against the Ten Commandments, it goes against your religion. But there are other paths in which there is no book. I'm talking about paganism. A lot of pagan paths don't have a Bible, a Quran, really. The rules are told in nature

This is a really interesting question and I really wanted to think about it before I actually replied. And yes, a couple questions here. And the first one he asked when did our religion become synonymous with our politics? And from my experience, it started with Ronald Reagan and his embracing of the evangelical church with Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. And after the assassination attempted, it kind of became stronger with Ronald Reagan

Hey, Phil. Thanks for responding. I really enjoyed your educated response. I learned a bit, and you're right on the money, at least for myself. I'm a pagan, and I'm really an eclectic witch. And sometimes when I say witch, I know a lot of people automatically assume that that's wicked. But I am not a Wicked, and I identify as a libertarian. So, yes, I can see exactly why you came to those conclusions

I think in some aspects pagan is a bit more conservative and traditional than perhaps even Christianity due to the fact that it just predates it by so much longer. But I think Christianity brought with it a faith that had imperialistic goals. So maybe I kind of agree with Phil, maybe it could be libertarian, more so in nature because the goals of Pagans and Wickens is not to dominate the world, but it's to heal thyself and to respect the planet in nature

For myself, I don't have Netflix because I feel that there is this sort of exploitation of the witch or there is a false narrative being shown in media. And I think they do this mainly for every group. But I think there is this propaganda put into which shows because they know that it's very popular and a lot of people, especially the youth, are coming out of the broom closet, right?
