How to buy a car on a tight budget part 1

And your plethora of friends, you know, someone who works at a car dealership, give them that Vin and let them find the carfax for you. If not, just let me know and I will help you. Okay? Once you have the Vin, once you know the history of the car, here are a few things I need you as a consumer to realize. You are buying a cheap used car, okay? Stop worrying about the miles

Mabel, this is simultaneously one of my favorite and least favorite subjects here. I feel like I've gotten the process down over the years as I bought a number of used cars and I never have bought a new car and I don't know that I ever will because I feel like I have the process down. And I agree with everything that you have said here. And I would just add one caveat because when you mentioned that you're not afraid of cars with high mileage, I agree with you

Not just Volvo, every brand, once they hit a certain age and mileage, you do have to be diligent on maintenance. But I just enjoy it. I really do enjoy them. I enjoy the whole thing of working with your car and just getting to know your car at a better level. I don't know if I would ever be one to buy a brand new car. I think it's mostly because I've sold brand new cars. And I understand especially now the severity of the appreciation
