Gun Violence The Ongoing Crisis In America

Guns are being just the gun violence is out of control, it's been out of control. I remember President Obama said something that was very troubling and very sad but very true. When Sandy Hook happened and our politics didn't vote on reforms, didn't take up this they did, but they didn't do anything about it. If that did not shape or change the minds of people, nothing will and we're seeing it play out in real time

But like I said, there will always be normal. And what lies outside the normal? And sadly, when those outside the normal get their hands on guns, people end up dead. Innocent people end up dead. So, yeah, sad situation

And I understand we get into health history and is it fair? Not fair or an invasion of privacy if people have to submit some level of a health history or mental health history specifically in order to be able to obtain a gun? I don't know

The disconnect between gun owners and politicians

I think one of the biggest disconnects in the US today is between gun owners, lobbyists, specifically the NRA, and politicians. The gun owners that I know, I know a lot of hunters and fishers and gun owners in my family and friends circle. They are 100%, not most of them, not some of them. Them all of them 100% talk about the importance of gun safety
