Emotional Self Care

article image placeholderUploaded by @LoveLiveLearn
Emotional self care plays a very important role in our mental health. So what does emotional self care really mean? It really refers to your ability to create space for your emotions and to nurture them. The goal of emotional self care is pretty much what it sounds live in some ways, you want your emotional self to be taken care of. What are some ways that you can care for your emotions? Take some time to regularly ask yourself what you're feeling. Validate your emotions and respect them

They're also able to improve in their focus and productivity. They're able to prevent burnout, they're able to have a much more clear mind for important tasks, and they're able to strengthen their interpersonal relationships because they're much more looking. Forward to having healthy and strong relationships with their friends and family and other individuals because they are practicing self care and they know how much their emotions mean for themselves. So emotional self care is so important in an individual and their mental well being

And the best possible way to take care of our emotional self care is acknowledging the fact that our emotions do need to be addressed. They are not to be taken for granted by anyone or at any time of the life. Right? So the more you respect your emotions, the more you put them firmly, the more better way the people start taking it. So acceptance, like, we want that our emotions should be addressed by everyone, but most of the time, are we expressing those emotions?

Hi, Kirti. Thank you so much for contributing to this well and bringing in your ideas. I so agree with every word that you said, and in some way, it just sort of brings home the point of how powerful just this simple tool of emotional self care can be and how largely it can affect someone positively in terms of their mental health, their relationship shifts, their productivity, and all the things in between

And while it can be really wonderful to be having relations where someone can pick up on your emotional cues, just knowing how empowering your words are, just that communication of, hey, I acknowledge my emotions, I recognize this is what I'm going through, and I invite you to engage in these emotions with me. It can be such a powerful tool that can bring back so much of that control, autonomy, and space of comfort with who I am and what I'm feeling

Hello. Hi. Thank you so much for inviting me to this particular swell emotional self care. I too strongly agree with all the points that you have shared. And you are absolutely right. In this busy world, we actually never think of our own emotions. We never try to understand ourselves, our own emotions and give time to feel those emotions. And sometimes we crush them under our thoughts, under our insecurities

Thank you so much for responding to that gauri. I completely agree. Just like Kirti highlighted the benefits of self care, emotional self care, I think there are also drawbacks of not doing it right. Like there are effects and consequences when you're not taking care of your emotions and not prioritizing them. And thank you so much for bringing those into light

It's just a small request to all the listeners or whatever it is. Never, ever try to fill that emotional void with anyone or anything, because filling that space is really easy. But emptying that space again is a tough job. And when that space is forcefully vacant, it leaves a deep scar behind
