Trans Day of Visibility

article image placeholderUploaded by @LololiSpeaks
What does it mean to identify as they and them? How do we use this in conversation, right? Let's talk about the gender markers right, x and the jurisdictions that approve it or support it, and let's just have a conversation about trans life and how to create safe spaces in our communities and our homes and our workplaces. And what I love about this conversation is it just brings to the table even more how we need to create safe spaces for everyone

Below speaks. Oh, my goodness. I saw a notification for your swell pop up when I was recording a conversation, actually with a hockey player who plays on a team of all trans people. And it's been, like, such a cool thing for me to learn about as someone who is non binary and trans

Growing up as a fat girl, a big girl, a black girl, not just a black girl, but a dark skinned girl, and then a dark skinned girl who wears natural hair, that's kinky, who has glasses, and it's all these boxes that people put you in and expectations and thoughts that they have about you
