Ode by Jane Huffman & lets talk about poetry🪶
The small bells of my intuition. She rang the small bells of the saddle. I was small and dizzying. I was dizzy. I rode in small and dizzying circles. Andrea taught me to ride no stirrups, nothing suspending my body but intuition. The small and dizzying circles of my body. My intuition wrote around me in small and dizzying circles, her shadow writing circles around me. I called her Andrea

There's the constant motion, but then there's a little detail that emerges from that. I love that. It's like the little things that we notice. Yeah. I don't know. I'm still processing. But I loved it. And you read it super well. Thank you so much for sharing it

It's. Yes. I'm kind of obsessed with the rhythm of the circular motion in the in the poem and how she's using this idea of, you know, kind of going riding around a paddock on a horse to demonstrate how it seems repetitive and circular, but there's something being brought to light with each rotation, so yeah. Thanks so much for participating. Each time I read it, it kind of shows me something new, too, which is really cool
