What You Seek (Depressed)

article image placeholderUploaded by @Loloflow
What you seek. Depressed, press the deep. An invitation to dive headlong or to resist. I have tried both before. Pushed, enraged and run from the dark. It's siren song, always pulling me back to the place I belonged in the heart of the ocean. Finally, I understood. Place my fingers, my flesh firmly on the pulse of my soul. And don't give up the dying for me to witness. I let the bindings release me. I let the bleeding cauterize me

Wow. That was very beautiful. I resonated with your work so much. Oh, my goodness. There was so much feeling and the beauty of our resurrection when we allow ourselves to feel that deeply. Oh, yes. I just wanted to in a raw format there, how much that moved me. Thank you for sharing

Well, that's really deep in the sense that I'm not sure if my interpretation is right either, because what I got on from that was that oftentimes there's two ways to deal with depression, and that's either to resist it or accept it. And as you've tried both lying and going with accepting it, you let yourself feel the entirety of it, which I think is kind of your way of saying how you healed

I'm so thankful for this platform to be in a space where others can hear me and vice versa, and we can come back around and say, this is what here, and this is how I feel it, and this is my interpretation. And it is such a beautiful mirror. I just wanted to thank you. It brought me to tears because I felt so seen in what you were saying. So thank you so much for listening and for taking the time to reply to me

@Quinne

Hi, Gwen. Thank you so much for listening and for responding. It's always a vulnerable thing to put yourself out there and expose your depths. But that is what we do, right? As writers and as humans. So I really appreciate appreciate your mirror. Have a beautiful day

I'm so moved that I could understand your writing and even help you understand yourself more. I write too, actually. I do poetry, so I totally get what you're saying. And that's why we write, don't. We do understand ourselves, and in the process, others feel understood and seen and make them feel that there are other people out there. That them. It's just that something about relatability makes you feel less lonely
