Devotee

article image placeholderUploaded by @Loloflow
This one is called devotee. I worry about my memory not because I might lose it someday but because I'm scared of forgetting the sensations of this day. For many years, I lost time. It wasn't safe to be present. So I do this panic dance. How can I save this feeling of you, of me? The totality of us? If I take a photo of everything I see in every moment will that quiet the nagging knowledge that this too will pass?

Dude, I love that part. Get on my knees. Hand, heart, center. Tap into primal rhythm. It's like I so feel you in that as well as myself, as well as every woman who's ever tapped into that space. So thank you for sharing

I think I need some of that pure, unadulterated presence and devotion. It's such a generous thing to tap into both in terms of wanting more of that abundance, but kind of cycling it through the cosmos into yourself and into another person. That's what I got from that, which made it feel like a very elevated love. And I want some of that really lovely piece. Very pure

Hi, marley. Thank you for listening. Yeah, I see you're a yoga teacher, so I know that you're very familiar with getting attuned to the heart chakra and our innate somatic wisdom. You know, I've been through a lot of trauma and returning to my body and learning how to be safe. There has been the most healing thing I've done

And when you do that, like you said, it's a cycle or a spiral you can become it through. I like what you said about as an elevated love as opposed to a destructive or dysfunctional love. And so much of that is returning to our bodies. And so thank you for your response. I'm

Good morning. It's Stephen. I'm glad that I found this one. I wanted to talk for a second about the first part of it, about memory. You are not alone with the panic dance that you're describing. It's something we all deal with. All you got to do is look around, see that people almost don't experience something unless they take a picture of it. And memory, it translates the past

Hey, Stephen. Yeah. I think a lot about memory in general because I have dealt with cPTSD and a lot of disassociating from trauma. I've lost time, which is what I was talking about there. And memories, a lot of them from my childhood are only found through photograph or story, of course, my family, you know, which is all everyone's individual subjective experience. So memories, I know, can never be factually captured
