I mean, it should have occurred to me, but it reminded me of a lack of collective entertainment we experience now. But it also brought home that this fracturing of information and entertainment consumption is kind of like living in alternative realities from each other. Being in high school comes to mind when they were jocks and Goss and the popular kids and the grunge people and the metal heads part of what divided everyone was what type of music they listened to.
