As a person that communicates with spirit and connects with energy professionally every day, I need to make sure that my energy is cleansed before I go to bed night, not just on the professional level, but on the level of interacting with other people's energy. People at the grocery store, people out in public, family, friends. I want to cleanse my energy of their energy because it doesn't belong to me, it's theirs

But for me it's been more in that physical form of shaking and sounding and just getting it out. And I really like the simplicity of just a prayer because sometimes I don't create the space and time for that clearing or I don't want to hype myself up before bed or whatever it is for that physical clearing and I really like the idea of just being able to lay in bed or sit at my altar for a moment and creating that intention
