To hold on or let go… that is the question | 5 minutes of Authenticity with Pritha

You do take charge. That is one aspect of it. The other aspect is being in a position of knowing that you cannot control every reaction. You cannot always control your circumstances. You cannot always control the outcome of an action. So my question then, or my constant inquiry, is that how do these overlap each other?

I believe it would be difficult for me to a certain extent, and it's definitely something that I would be interested in figuring out how to make that work in my life. I really appreciate the invitation to comment, and I really appreciate your thoughts, because it really has caused me to think about my reaction to the ways in which whatever outcome plays out and my ability to let go of my desire to control it, as well as how that happens with my kids

But then the narrative, or what we try to impress is to tell her that, you know what you do your best and whether you get the grade or don't get the grade, you will know that you made an honest effort and that this is the best you could do. So that's how I have been trying to impress upon her. And hopefully she's not too upset by failures because I think too often we don't let our children fail

You. Good evening. And while listening to your swell, I. It just stuck to me that I am one of those people who would say, it's raining outside and I can't go for a walk. So that's something, according to me, is the rain. I cannot control roll

What we think about things, you know, how we think about them, you know, we have circumstances that happen in our life and the thoughts that we have about them can really affect the way we feel. Either we're going to feel good or going to feel bad about it and then it results to our emotions and then our actions
