You. Try not to beat yourself up for using these cognitive distortions. We've all used them at one time or another. It's not too late to change your thinking patterns and have a healthy, happy relationship. Take a moment to reflect. Identify the triggers or situations that tend to provoke these negative thoughts. Once you're aware of your negative thought patterns, start challenging them. Ask yourself if there is any evidence to support your assumptions
