Southern cough syrup…hahaha

article image placeholderUploaded by @Libra-Libations
So the word hot toddy actually comes from the toddy drink in India produced by fermenting the sap of palm trees. Who knew? Its earliest known use to mean a beverage made of alcoholic liquor with hot water, sugar and spices is from 1786. I personally love a good hot toddy and was feeling just comfortable and relaxed and nursing a sick boyfriend and thought tonight would be a perfect evening since it's also finally not hot in San Diego

Like, I don't even need to put it on. It's like, take a little taste and you're there. But it's so cool. I didn't know that they also called it Southern cough syrup. That's so funny. I'm going to start saying that. Yeah. I'm just going to finish the next little Southern cough syrup. That's great

So yeah, I hope you enjoyed any and all of the hot toddies you had this winter, and hopefully it's warming up where you are as spring is coming into play. We're currently experiencing a ton of cool weather and rain here in San Diego, which I enjoy. Nobody else in the city really does
