What to do with friends like these?

article image placeholderUploaded by @LG90
And I always am in awe and envy of women who have these long friendships and they're still friends with people from school, and they have childhood buddies that they can rely on as soulmates. I do everything I can. I keep my part of the bargain, and I put in as much effort into my friendships as I would into a marriage. I'm always inquiring about the other person, and I'm not too self centered

My female friendships always have a short shelf life and come with a sudden expiration date. Can you relate or guess the reasons? I’m lost!

Hi. First of all, I just want to say that I really love how unfiltered and honest you are when speaking about stuff like this because these are really personal to us, right? And well, about female friendships. I have also had experiences where I was maybe friends with some real close friends and then someday something happens and I realized that they are not as good or as benevolent as I had thought them to be, I imagined them to be. And well, it hurts

@Aishani

But definitely if it's a friendship of over one year at least, especially female friendships in one year, you can create such a strong bond and share all kinds of secrets with each other. So I don't think it's fair at all. And it's a very immature move for people to just ghost each other
