Why Don’t You Read Comic Books?
But the Infinity Gauntlet stuff of the late 80s, early 90s, maximum Carnage, todd McFarland, torment Spiderman. To me, yes, that stuff is awesome. And the thing is, you've got so much more of that now. There's so many great writers out there. I know so many people that watch The Walking Dead, but they've never experienced the comics. And I'm just like, why are you not reading the comics? They're so much better

I want that experience. And we have to drive like two and a half hours now to get to a Barnes and Noble. And I just think that really put the kibosh to readers. I think now people have nothing else to go to but their phones and their Kindles and their tablets. I don't know how accessible comic books would be on there. But again, I think it is just great that you are having or daughter reading material. Just a thought. Have a great day

Like, I live in New York City, and there's only like, three or four decent comic book stores, and there's probably even less good bookstores, so it's hard to push your stuff, and the price of printing is ridiculous. And it's like I tell people all the time, we ship worldwide

But I think it's been so oversaturated that people are kind of like, oh, I'm tired of comic book stuff. So there's a lot of caveats to it right now. I've been reading a lot of stuff that I missed in the past. So, like, I'm reading Lone Wolf and Cub omnibus. Two, already read one. I just picked up Usagi yo, Jimbo. The first volume. I have Afro Samurai

And so, yes, everyone has their own tastes and what to read. I love reading novels, of course, first and foremost, but there's just something about manga and other comics that I really like. I think it's just the situations that's in it and just the gorgeous artwork. I really do think that if people take the time to at least read one, and like you said, you'll even recommend some, just read one and see what they think about it
