Yeah. Question of the day. What is the first rated R movie that you ever watched that you weren't supposed to, that you fell in love with? So for me, it's Clint Eastwood Dirty Harry. There was just something supremely awesome to me about Clint Eastwood as a kid. I'm pretty sure that movie came out in 1971, and I was probably around six or seven in 1989
And I remember being a kid and not being traumatized, not being disturbed in any way as a filmmaker. Today, I look back at it finally, and it reminds me of listening to interviews with I believe it was Tarantino talking about how his aunt or his grandma, somebody took him to see exploitation films. I think she may have even taken him to see Faster Pussycat, Kill Kill, or whichever of that 60s era of essentially it was like soft core p*** with quality stories involved
