Celebrate you today

Just for today. Be really kind to yourself as if you it was your child or a child that you love. How about the inner child with the in? You love the child within you wholeheartedly, intentionally, with compassion and kindness and forgiveness and grace and respect. Be good to the inner child because they needed you once and you can be there now. You can be there for that inner child that always felt so alone, that was scared. They had nobody to help them

Hi, Lisa. Thank you for this post. I am really into doing inner child work, and I have been reading the Healing the Inner Inner Child book by Tick, Knock, Hung. Have you read that? Yeah. Curious if you have any maybe prompts or exercises that you do for healing the inner child. I know a lot of the work that he mentions in the book is like writing letters to your younger self. I've done meditations and envisioning of what my younger self would tell me

That child within that was never saved, never heard, never held. Every day I look at it like this. Self care first is my number one go to heal your inner child. The more I can love myself now is the more I can show my younger self that I love her as well. Sometimes when I'm looking in the mirror and wash my face and my whole self care routine at night, I say, I am here now. You are no longer alone. Alone
