Questions re Identity and Education
And I found in those identity groups LSU. And I also was a member of Fisher Pride. I found community, and it made me have a greater perspective because I wanted to know what were my friends reading and how were they educated about themselves before they got to undergrad. Second question in your line of work, do you feel gender impacts, racial interactions? Meaning by what do you identify? Do you believe it has an impact on how others interact with you?

But now I enjoy that type of discourse because my skin is thick now and I have comebacks, and it all helps with my sense of humor, too. I think this type of behavior from other people is sad. I've been around the world. I've been to many countries, and I've been outside the United States, and a lot of this ignorance I feel comes from people that have that don't have those experiences
I just wanted to say that the story of the girl not being able to be friends with you because her dad was in the KKK, that impacted me and I think you're really brave to tell it. And I do know what it feels like to be a kid and to not be accepted

My family is all over the place. But I identify as African American. I have everything in my blood. In fact, all of my cousins are all married to white people, Jewish people. It's amazing
