#spiritualquotient guiding your emotions as a #servantleader

article image placeholderUploaded by @LaraBezerra
What I learned in my leadership life is for you to be a good leader, you have to be authentic. And every time that I was very successful in a very difficult and crisis situation, I just told what I was feeling. I was telling I am a little worried about giving this message to you all because I really care about you and I want you to understand properly the situation because then we can together find a solution

To be a #servantleader is to be able to work with ur emotions in any give situatiion. #spiritualquotient #sq helped me to be an #authenticleader!

Lara, the word spiritual quotient is something that has been on my mind for over a year now. And I used to think that it is a new world and possibly something that I coined out of nowhere. So I'm really overwhelmed to hear hear this post and also in many ways feel vindicated that it's coming from you, who has been at the helm of multinationals across many countries. And I just feel so elated that this has been a guidepost for you

And sometimes because of that I don't always feel like because I have that server heart that helper heart that I cannot I should be support to the actual leader or I should behind the scenes and stuff. But it's a good reminder that that's actually what we need from a leader is a servant. We need someone that has purpose that is greater than their own ambitions

But they did a lot of cultural work and then a lot of EQ work with leaders and a lot of work around leaders being positive and having an abundance mindset and believing the best of intent and leaning in and being curious in an effort to move the thought process. That leadership was more punitive in terms of any time earlier, was speaking with you was going to be punitive or not pleasant

And because of this, we should see the spiritual side of it, as well as the Dharma and in Tao, the same, they speak the same. And I think that in so many different philosophies, the work is something that is an honor, a privilege, a gift, a bless. And if we see this way, it will be completely different, the way that we interact. So I will bring a little more about it the next day

And I don't think that a leader that is true leader that is admired, respected and that can really grow teams cannot be nothing but a servant leader because only when you're serving your team, you are able to make them grow and flourish and be themselves. Because it's kind of being trusted and trust

The point is that sometimes they used to do these also in a kind of cynical way and not being aware or acknowledging that people can have emotions, can have moments that they do not feel well and they should express it. And by having a boss that is kind of emotional controller, it's very difficult to do
