Happiness and leadership

article image placeholderUploaded by @LaraBezerra
When I went to be interviewed for my last position as a leader, as president of a multinational in Venezuela, the CEO of the company asked me what I thought it was the most important thing for me to pursue as a leader for the success, success of my team. And my answer was that my people have to be happy. And from the start of the conversation we went to the Boutonn GN eight Grass National Happiness

#happiness, how important is to have a happy team or a team that is moved by #gratitude. How #purpose comes into play! Mostly in face of challenges!

I think it just brought up a lot of ways that something so simple as one little question and how you approach it and what your inward, like, underlying foundational perceptions are really affect the outer product. And then when you're a leader, it affects for good or bad, everything that your team and perhaps even your group or corporation or whatever business does

@ZenMoma thanks! Great moment for you to question yourself - what am I here for? What do I believe in? How can I impact positively?

Hi Zaymona. Thank you so much for your answer and your enthusiasm. I love it having certain moments in our life that we are reviewing everything and we are changing professionally and personally. It's a great moment to ask the question AHA, what can I impact? Which kind of leadership can I leave?

@LaraBezerra : one size does not fit all

And so it was the mix of all of these experiences that formed a leadership style, a leadership and so it wasn't a pattern which I can succinctly put in one liner and say, if you chase this and then I'll make sure that my team is happy. Different strokes for different folks would be my summary of it all. But thanks so much for sharing such an interesting swell. This can probably go on for at least 1020 more swells. There's that much content to share

Happiness is what we all seek, what we all want to exclude. And definitely leaders who exude happiness are able to drive a team that are selfmotivated, that are highly productive and efficient and go that extra mile in delivering right the goods. And I think, as you said, it all begins with purpose and definitely aligned with gratitude

But this is very good, very informative and it's very true what you say about the gratitude part. Very true. We have to always come with a spirit of gratitude and always be thankful
