Good evening everyone. This is Tina, your poet, and I have just published my second book. This is called Lovedown Hit and it's a relationship about Raquel and Torian. It is a very destructive, violent relationship and Raquel has always and Raquel has also had when she was a child, she was raped by her uncle. And so I'm going to just read you an excerpt about it. And I feel this is a topic that needs to be talked about. It needs to be exposed
And so therefore, they will step in and pretend to be all the thing that your child wants. And then before you know it, bad things happen. They're violated, they're abducted, and all these other things because you decided that I don't want to be a parent, I want to be a best friend. You did it to yourself and then the child suffers. So absolutely, we need to bring more awareness to this topic. You're absolutely spot on with these people being monsters

That was literally, to me, the best time of my life, when they were born and they were little babies. And I just don't understand how you cannot be your child's friend. You cannot let them do whatever they want. You have to parent and monitor them. That's the only way you can keep them safe. But these young people don't want to be parents. All they want to be is in their phone, going out, getting lit, all this nonsense
