All of these challenges are based on the 14th Amendment insurrection clause and argue that likely the republican nominee should be excluded because of his role in the January 6 insurrection. That's right. It was an insurrection. But what could the challenges and decisions mean for the former president? Well, him not being able to run, of course, as president of the United States, that would be the big thing, right?
