They don't pose a risk to garden plants, but they could potentially damage young trees when they cut into the branches and then they lay their eggs. But other than that, they're pretty harmless. It's just the sheer volume of it and the noise and the cicada exoskeletons that are going to cover the trees and scrubs. I'm going to throw up. But anyway, what do you all think?

I've seen those, and it kind of looks like it's a live bug, but it's just the skeleton of it, and it just kind of freaks out. And my daughter actually just told me that the first time she saw a cicada skeleton, she was freaked out. She was in first grade and still remembers it. So that part I will pass on. But I still really would like to hear this sound and hear what two broods coming together actually sounds like

Phil, you just. You made me laugh. Oh, my gosh. One, I'm with your daughter. Nasty. No, I don't want to see any more exoskeletons as long as I live. But in all honesty, when I think of Kentucky, I think of fun times, too. You know, I'd rather hear the cicadas over gunshots any day
