Now, domestic violence is a pattern of behaviors that are used by your current or former romantic partners. They use it to maintain power over you, control over you. It can start small and grow over time. For example, a partner might threaten to hit you

And a lot of people think, oh, because he didn't hit me, he's not abusing me, or Because she didn't hit me, that I'm not being abused. That is untrue. Words hurt just as much as hands. Thank you, Ms. Andrea. I appreciate that. It hurt when I was making this series and thinking about it. It hurt when I was recording. I was know in record stop, record stop. But he can't hurt me anymore. They can't hurt me anymore. So I'm grateful for that. And, yes, ma'am, I believe this series would be beneficial for so many because women get abused and so do men
