Hello. Hi, Evelyn. So, if I had a wish, I wish that people would not take this supposed gender war between men and women into 2024. But, hey, I don't have no say in that. And I certainly don't have any control over anyone else, barely myself. So I can't. That's just the wish. On a personal note, I'm something that I don't want to take into 2024. Is this downplaying of self?

I thought I knew, but I want to be free. I want to be free to be able to make choices, free to be able to make positive decisions for my life that doesn't always affect everyone else surrounding me now. Yes, it affects everyone else surrounding me. However, I don't want that always to be a contributing factor when I make a decision about something I want to do. I want to be healthier. I want to get out there and walk more

And just being given a paycheck is just simply not enough. You know what I mean? Jobs just don't do enough. They don't pay enough. They don't reciprocate enough. You always have to manage your life around them and not them manage their life around you. So, yeah, mine is just being overworked and underappreciated. Learn my value or take my absence or get my absence. I quit on my job

And they should care about that. So I'm glad that you're not going to be taking that into the new year, because overworked, honey, and underpaid, underappreciated, I'm not doing none of that. I feel like all of that garbage should be left right here on the garbage heap. So when they dump it, it's dumped and it's gone. So I wish you more than prosperity. I wish you healing. I pray your healing rather than wish. I pray for peace. I pray for comfort. I pray for strength. I pray that God would do big things in your life. And if we haven't asked enough, God, I pray that you would give us more than enough

But with the passing of my sister and my brother getting sick and him his eventual passing and my mom having a fall and being out of work and in rehab, it's been a lot. It's been extra. And my therapist always says, what have you done for you? And she's like, I want you to be intentional. When we come back into our next session, I want to hear what you've done for yourself

That's amazing. I think that's the philosophy perspectives to have going into this new year. Not a resolution, just a new way of being. Period. I love it. I love the fact that you finally. Well, not finally, but that we are all trying to acknowledge something different than what we've previously seen. So I look forward to hearing more of your swells and hearing you more here on swell.
