I mean, my gosh, she passed away. I was really, really young. Like, in the early eighties, I was super young, and I remember the fights that my mom and her sisters would have, like, screaming matches right on the phone. It was horrible, horrendous, you name it. I mean, there's still members of my family that don't talk to this day, and it's 2024, right? Crazy. So, yeah. Thank you for this

Um, thankfully, my dad did have one, and, um, that I think he did. This was during the time when my husband and I were struggling. So, um, I couldn't get to my dad as often as I wanted to. But, um, he did let people know that he wanted the colors at his funeral to be red skin colors, or I think they're called the commanders now, something. And he did have something set up for me and my sister financially

A lot of people don't even know that, and a lot of people don't know how simple it is to get it done, but it is, it's really simple, and it's your wishes

I mean, gosh, but I am glad that you're going to sit down and do your advanced directive because it's important, you know, what do you want? How do you want to be treated? What medicine do you want? What medicines don't you want? Do you want to be kept on life support? Do you want all life saving procedures? Do you want a DNR? You know, how long should you stay on life support in case your own life support?
