I was able to be free and live my life and do good for me and do good for my kids and my girls to this day. They might not be everything that I want them to be, but I love them and I'm so proud. But yeah, y'all, an orange packet of Koolaid freed me

As a man, there are good men, and there are not so good men. And they cross all age ranges, all races, all ethnicities, all religions. There are good and bad in all of them. And it's not just only one race or culture or ethnicity or age group. So I was really grateful that your story included that

I still see the things that he did to me and things that I allowed him to do to me. So I don't even get mad at myself anymore. But, yeah, girl, that joker had to go. You hear me? No. You got to go. God watches over us, and he puts little signs and symbols and little things in our way all the time. Okay? I've had friends who went through that. I've seen it on TV. But to hear about it and to see that you're free, that's the most important. So, yeah, this was something else. Thank you for sharing your story with us

And it's just like you said, you go along to get along. I got kids by him, she got kids by me. We could work it out. It's not that bad. Oh, I'm just overreacting. No, it's that bad. You're not overreacting. And so what? You got kids together. You want them to see you suffer? Or do you want them to grow up to be human beings that have respect for others as well as themselves?
