That's ecclesiastics 815. God wants us to be happy. He doesn't want us to be sad. He understands our sadness. But does he want us to be sad? No, he doesn't. He wants us to laugh
So from the beginning, God has put his desires for his children to have fun at the top of his priority list. His creation is filled with animals, vegetation, water and perfection. And he wants us, his children, to live in a world where there's no darkness, where no darkness could hinder their pleasure. And what we know about fun is that it's subjective. More than the definition. We must think about what fun is to us. What is it that we want to enjoy?

I don't have to go to the club and drink to have fun. I can sit right here in my house, my God, and begin to think about God and begin to think about the things that he has done for me. Oh, my God, and I can begin to rejoice and praise Him right here. I can dance right here in my own apartment. I don't have to wait till I get to church. I can dance in my own apartment

Our goal is just to make sure that we don't fall short of the glory while we're here. And we focus so much on legalism and religion that's when it becomes no fun. Because churches have a tendency some churches have a tendency to frown upon any sign of laughter and joy because they feel like, oh, we're not taking God seriously, we're not taking the gospel seriously. They're so focused on the fact that time is running out

I don't know why anybody would say that he's not fun, but I'm glad you responded, because it just bothered me today when I heard that someone said, God is not fun. He most certainly is. And thank you so much for your lovely, lovely, lovely reply

You. Thank you for replying. You know, there are so many ways to describe God and the joy that's in Him that he has given us. I thought it was so sad today that someone would say that God is not fun. He invented fun. He invented laughter. He invented our smiles. He wants us to be happy. And you're so right. He wants us to live, flow as we're obedient to Him. He will bless us continually

When you're out in the streets, you're always trying to dress to impress and impress people and do things that you probably would never do, but because of peer pressure, you give in to things. But when you find Christ, there is no peer pressure because the people that are surrounded with you that know Christ are there to encourage you and protect you. And I'm grateful for that. Not everybody does it, but most people that I know do. So I'm grateful for your lie
