I just think it's a senseless act, another senseless act, another moment in time which I wish could be redone. I wish that he'd never done that to him, and I wish that Mr. Chauvin had never done that to Mr. Floyd. So I say all that to say this when someone offends you, two wrongs don't make a right. It doesn't mean you have to offend them because they offended you. Be the bigger person, walk away. This is murder versus attempted murder now

Thank you for the post, lady five. Last weekend, I got the chance to watch a documentary called the fall of Minneapolis. I have the link to the documentary in this well before. If you guys decide to watch it, I will say this, it is very biased. A better part of this documentary was hard to watch. I didn't want to watch the entire thing. It's very hard to grasp. To start, the documentary begins with the background of George Floyd's criminal history

We pray that people don't have to deal with that type of stuff in prison, but unfortunately, a lot of times they do. We pray that his injuries are not too bad and that he heals. Maybe they can move him to a different prison or move him somewhere where he can be a little bit safer, although I'm not really sure where he could go that he would be totally safe. But maybe they can move him somewhere a little bit safer. I'll be honest with you

This is senseless. We all need to start identifying with each other. I respect you, you respect me. Let's respect each other and not just people that we agree with, but people that we don't agree with

I think you should do a swell on it. I think there are a lot of people out here who say that's what he got. He got exactly what he deserved, but he didn't. He didn't get what he deserved. If it was tit for tat, if it was take a life, take a life, then he would be dead. I don't want him to be dead. I want him to serve his time

I really wish all of these murders and all of this would just go away completely. Because I agree with you, Evelyn, when you said it's not a popular opinion to say, hey, let's turn the other cheek. It's not a very popular opinion. Which is why the New Testament teachings is actually harder than the Old Testament teachings, right?

But to be cruel and malicious and do something purposely knowing that it's going to cause pain to someone else because you're having a bad day or a bad moment or you don't particularly care for that person, all of that is wrong.
