By the grace of God and under the constitution of the kingdom, Queen I do hereby solemnly protest against any and all acts done against myself and the constitutional government of the hawaiian kingdom by certain persons claiming to have established a provisional government of and for this kingdom. Then I yield to the superior force of the United States of America, whose minister, his Excellency John L Stevens, has caused United States troops to be landed at Honolulu and declares that they will support the said provisional government

I guess that's how you pronounce it, by Alan Brennard. It's supposed to be based on a true story. And it's about a hawaiian girl who has leprosy. So I can't wait to dive into that history, into that book. But when you were talking about what happened to the queen. Oh, my goodness, it did make me mad and it made me sad. Because once again. Once again, someone is being knocked off their peg because of what someone else wants

You don't want to come to the table. You just want to take. When we don't agree with something, we take it. And that I don't agree with. I think that we should negotiate, that we should see what it is that they wanted, what it is that we could do to be on board. Know, you're never going to have a people that serves America if the people hate America and hate the people that they're serving
