#TellSwell | They got away with it again ! The police officer that stopped and restrained. Elijah Mcclain has been found not guilty.
It's a sedative, but it's so strong. And then they put him in a chokehold twice. He became unconscious. The body cameras were knocked off during a struggle with him, but he was forcibly held to the ground. They had his hands cuffed behind his back, and you can hear him several times saying, I can't breathe, I can't breathe. While they were still with the paramedics there on the scene, he went into cardiac arrest

But yet and still we'll end up being killed anyway, unarmed. And it's just a sad case that we are just being subjected to this kind of brutality and injustice in our lives. I don't know about America too much, but in the years that I've been here, during the civil rights, during the marching, during the riots, it just seems like nothing has changed. Then we have the orange one to be president and that set everything back. It just leaves me just flabbergasted

And some of it, people will justify and say, well, it's not about race. I don't think in this case, it was about race. That I can prove. I just think that they didn't treat him as a human being, not like they would treat their son or their nephew. Excuse me. I don't know, I'm just done. I'm so angry. I'm angry, but I'm not surprised. I really am not

We as a people and keep our backs straight and our heads up high and keep our shoulders up and keep teaching the young and protecting each other. And we must get better with each other and stop all of this killing. Yeah, we in our uprisal uprise about excuse me about this police brutality, but I hate to uncover the truth. We are so terrible with each other and we do unto each other so many injustices. I mean, we have killed each other more than one of the wars

It wasn't until then that I became mad because here was much apparent overt evidence that this person was a murderer, was armed and dangerous and targeted a racial group, and they picked this dude up without incident and took him to get something to eat. And yeah. So ever since then, hearing situations like that, hearing experiences like this loss of life like this loss of Elijah McClain's life god continued to rest his soul and many, many others. It just makes me mad
