Good morning, my slowcast family. Good morning. Well, it looks like the United States House of Representatives has passed a temporary spending bill to avert the government shutdown again. That could have left as many people as like 1.5 million people without pay. You know, this particular legislation would extend government funding until till mid January, so they can do it all again. It now heads to the Senate, where the Democrats have a slim majority and the Republicans have voiced support for the bill

You know, these folks get on my nerves. They really do. Because the thing about it is they make enough money that if the government shuts down for three, four months, they have made enough money where it won't affect them. And as much as government jobs make, with as high as things are, there are still some people who work a government job and they can't afford for the government to shut down

That's exactly what I'm saying. Like, why are you playing with people money? Seriously. People's livelihoods, people's families, people's bills. It is already hard enough. And you mean to tell me you can't sit there and make a decision about the budget? Seriously because y'all can't agree? You're acting like children. You having a tip fit, you know, spiting each other. It don't make no sense. Grow up
