#AskSwell | Why Did the Prisoner Choose the Bread and Not the Key? 🥖🗝️

article image placeholderUploaded by @LadyFi
Good evening, my swell cast family. Good evening. And as you can see by the photo here, I have a question. Why did the prisoner choose the bread instead of the key? I mean, I saw this on Facebook and I thought, hmm, that's something to really think about, because why did he choose the bread as opposed to the key in order to escape? Well, I have some idea as to why he did, but I want to know what you think

Hey, Ladyfi. So I can't really tell you why the prisoner chose the bread over the key. Each person has their own free will to choose which way they want to go. He went with the bread. I am. I can't answer from someone else's perspective. I can only answer from my perspective. And what I would do, I take both, because by that picture, I'm obviously starving

So many choices, and there’s no way to determine the correct choice without testing the potential outcomes.

Okay, so just up front, remember that I think a lot differently than the average Josephine. So the first thing is, he's there with a stick, and there's two things. If there's not someone there watching, why can't he get both of them? That's my first question. The second question is, does he know that that key is the one that will open that door if he can only choose one thing?

So I guess it's a metaphor of saying there's no easy way out, and the only way is the right. You know, is it the right moral way? Just my opinion, just my perspective

And a lot of the homeless respond to it, and they are usually the ones that were put into that crisis, you know, loss of a job, loss of a home, and they want to get their way out but there are a lot, too, that panhandle on the corner. And a lot of times, sometimes they're addicts, sometimes they just go down into some mental health crisis

Girl, you better get deep on this. Girl. You said a word here. Oh, my gosh. I love your perspective. I absolutely love you. See, this is why I like doing things like this, because everyone has perspectives. I love that you went to the mental health and mental wellness issues because true enough, in this picture, this man could be struggling internally, and this is just a composite picture of what he's going through or how he has to make choices

@Mommas_Jungle

I absolutely loved your perspective on the fact of does he know that this key is the key to get out, or does he know that that's not the key in order to get out, and he just wants to get the bread for sustenance and power and he's going to get the bread before he tries to escape. I love that. I love that you went with the fact that we have to make choices in life and not always what we see is what we think it is

But where you also went with that is that you said he's going to grab both. So he's just going for the bread first, and then he's going to go for the key as well. I absolutely love that. I love that so much. Thank you so much. That's a good, healthy perspective

Hey, everyone. I just wanted to come on here and say my perspective because I never did say what I think, why I think the man is going for the bread first and not the key. When I initially looked at the picture, I thought, okay, he's in prison or jail, and he's in a situation and he needs the bread in order to power up, basically because he's weak. He's been in there. He's weak, he needs the bread
