Because I'm a mom and because I'm fallible and because I'm human. I'm going to worry anyway. I'm going to want to know that when they come in that they check their surroundings. If they live in a building and they have to go upstairs, that they have their porch light on well lit or wherever they're parking it's well lit

And I'm so happy about that. And so one of the things I say about parenting that's hard is you don't know if you've done it right until you realize you did it wrong. And that's the thing. You could be thinking you're doing it right with your discipline and with whatever methods you use to raise these kids. And then they grow up and they're like in therapy and you don't know that until it happens. So it's like a waiting game

But I wanted to see success. I wanted him to see nice cars in the parking lot, you know what I'm saying? I wanted, when it was time for college, for other people to say, oh, yes, this is my alma mater, my friend is an admissions counselor. I wanted him around wealth and success. And so I was strategic about that. And so what's beautiful is that my son was baptized, I think when he was ten, the oldest one

@DearAuntyAng

In hindsight, I could have done a lot of things differently. But I'm here. I love my kids, I know they love me. And when they get older and they need me continually, I'll still be there. So, yes, I intend on enjoying my emptiness hood eventually when it happens. But it's going to be different. It's going to be strange to go from being needed constantly to being called occasionally. But anyway, thank you so much

Thank you so much for responding to this. Well, I think that's very important to not try to pass on our not values, but our, I don't know, insecurities to our children, teaching them to be wholesome. And whole is what we're supposed to be doing. I think you're doing a fantastic job just by your thought processes that you shared on here. I really appreciate you commenting, and I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you
