Do you have anything that maybe we should invest in? Something that you know is less risky, but brings a lot of reward? I mean, nothing's easy, right? But some things are just set, and some things are easy. I think some things are a good bet. So, do you have an investment portfolio? Once again, an investment portfolio is a collection of your assets. And that can include investments like stocks, bonds, mutual funds and exchange traded funds

Or it could be what I profit when I sell the house versus what I owe on my mortgage. So those are the tips I have. Research is important. Research is important. Research is also annoying. And honestly, if you don't know what you're looking to, I got this advice when I was studying for my master's MBA is to invest where you shop, right? So Coca Cola and they have more stock than soda. They actually have tons of real estate

I love that the example about you and your boyfriend at the time, and how he has significantly added to his portfolio by contributing the amount that he has contributed. And I believe that you should investigate stocks and stuff like that. And yes, in trading places, they bought pork bellies, but if you think about it, they call it pork bellies. But how much bacon does America eat? You see what I'm saying? How much do we use in cheeseburgers?

It's not easy being a trader or an investor. If you're looking to turn it into income, I won't talk about that. I'll talk about actual investing and not trading, just to keep it simple. So in my opinion, to be a good investor or a good trader, you need to read three books. Reminiscence of a stock operator, charting and technical analysis and trading in the zone. I've put screenshots of all three of those works on this

Rooster. That was amazing. That was amazing. You shared so many gems right there, and I hope people are paying attention and that they get the books because it's worth it. It's worth it to try to invest in yourself. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain all of that. It really meant a lot. And you know what? I learned a lot, so thank you so much

Yeah, I was actually going to come back and compliment you and also Annie Ange, on your advice on the 401K, maxing it out, taking advantage of that pre tax dollar free money that most people don't. But then also, once you're pouring into your need to be aware of what you're investing in, where that money is going to, that's something that you, you just have to learn how to do it

At the time, I was really knee deep in my experience with domestic violence, so I was not able to fully implement a lot of the things that she mentioned. And one of the things that she suggested was for people to consider. Wow, I just realized my thing fell out, was for people to consider investing in things that they had an interest in. So if there's a product you like using, a game you like playing to see if that company has stocks and invest in those stocks

Hey, Jl, that's a wonderful idea to invest in something that you use or that you love. People invest in millions of different things. But that sounds reasonable, because then you'll stay focused, right, on your investment journey. I love it. I'm sorry I responded so late to you. I apologize. But yes, this is a wonderful idea, and I like it. I think I'm going to do that

Hello, Ms. Evelyn. This is such a great swell. Thank you so much for bringing this topic to light. For everyone on swell, investing is very important. Having an investment portfolio, to me, is essential. I started investing just about within 2020, and I'm still investing now. I'm doing pretty well for myself, I must say. I say investing because I'm a long term investor. I'm not a short term investor for the most part

Thank you so much. This information is real valid, it's real strong. I didn't even think about Yahoo. Finance and then I used to have a wonderful portfolio when I was working years and years ago and what I did is I invested in not just companies I was interested in, but like I said, other companies before, but now I invest in companies I'm interested in and products that I actually use. I love the healthcare industry. I'm just really impressed with your knowledge

But it grows rapidly if you make the right choices. And the right choices, honestly, there's no right or wrong. It's just the right choice that's for you. Because everybody has a personal interest. Everybody have personal things that they do, but you always make sure that you always invest in companies that interest you. Invest in companies that you like, invest in companies that really would get you to research more about them on a regular basis

Because if you're dumping money in speculative stocks, and it may have some revenue, but stock has been out there for, like, three or four years, and it still hasn't generated any profit, then that could be a problem down the road. And you really have to kind of come home every night and do your homework to check that stock, check in with the quality meetings, the forecast and all that stuff. Because if some kind of event happens, then the stock price crashes

I meant to respond to this yesterday. Thank you for all the information, because that, too, is a lot of information that we can use. I love the fact that people keep saying, invest in stuff that you use. I love that. But I'm really grateful that you're able to share all of, well, not all of your knowledge, but a good deal of it. So thank you. Ah

Thank you, sir, for listening and for including all that information, because I think investing is wonderful. But like you said, as we grow older, we really do need to think about what we're investing in because we might not be able to keep on top of it as much as we were before
