#askswell | What was the BEST Christmas gift you got when you were a kid?
Just look at it. Imagine it. All the pretty presents and the colors and the different boxes. Some are small, some are big. But my question is, what was the best Christmas gift you ever got as a child? Ever? I'll go first. I received a boombox. I love music. I love music. I love singing
And he's like, I'll bring you over to Annaline's. We got the tree up. I got plenty of presents underneath the tree for you. Like that santa brought bike. He picked up me and my brother, and we went over to my aunt's and it was exactly like, he know, the Christmas tree was up. The house was decorated. It was beautiful. There was shit on the presents underneath the tree. And I was just like, oh, my God

You. Thank you so much for sharing your story. That's beautiful. I mean, yes, some people have really hard childhoods, and some of the things that we remember about Christmas aren't even the gifts. It's the love behind it and the support and the strength and energy that went into getting that for your child

It's. Thank you so much for sharing that I actually remember them. And you write you couldn't tell them things up. Not that we didn't try, but yes. My brother, I remember one time my mom bought my mom and dad bought him a Transformer for Christmas, the Transformers back then. And he played with the dog on box, and I was like, they didn't spend all this money buying this toy, and you playing with the freaking box. But okay
