Hey, we just knew we were going to have a good time in the choir that day because we was rehearsing and we knew it was going to be a great day. So I don't know. Sometimes it's good to look back. I like doing that because it reminds me and it brings a smile to my face of all the good times that we had and all the good things that we did as teenagers in church

So we had a dinner, an honor dinner. And it wasn't very well put together, but this time around, we really wanted to do something better. And so we're having an honor dinner at the same place where we had the first dinner. It was a special place that my ex husband or my husband liked to go to. And this time around, I'm planning to say something. None of us really said anything. We brought pictures. We had a dinner

It's just love persevering. Because we honor them by remembering them, by telling other people about them, by laughing about their jokes, remembering all the things that made us smile about them. And that is how we honor them living a good life and not letting their memory die. And you're doing just that. You're honoring him with this beautiful dinner. And just because you're thinking about some things that hurt you doesn't mean it's not a good memory

And even though you guys were on iffy terms before, you're starting to come together again, which is a really good thing. And then I heard you say also that pain can sometimes keep you from thinking about the good memories. Girl, you said a word right there. Because when I grew up, it wasn't a good childhood. Not really. I mean, we weren't abused to an extent, but it was rough. And there was more pain than it seemed like pleasure
