I Was An Ugly Duckling

article image placeholderUploaded by @Labyrinth
So, yeah, I guess I was an ugly duckling, and it wasn't just a racial bias, as I somehow convinced myself of. And also, I know that the other pictures that I have of myself, I guess back then, we didn't have selfies like every single day. We didn't have pictures of ourselves just in our day to day attire or way of being. Often the pictures were of ourselves at an event or just picture day at school

Do you feel that the image that you have in your head of yourself matches up with the way that other people see you or even pictures of yourself?

Usually the image I have of myself versus how people see me, that's hard, man. Because I really don't know. Sometimes because I don't get so much like they don't say it, but they show it through their action. They don't say, oh, I think you're really attractive. You're whatever. They usually do it through action. So I just assume or presume because of the action that the attraction is there. But anyway, those are my thoughts

I have plenty of childhood pictures of me, so I will post it. I don't know which one it'll be, but you look so sweet as a youth. And your other picture wasn't so bad either. But I can totally see with, you know, the unkempt hair, very wild curls you had, how it could have been much for some kids to deal with. But look at you now, right? Look at you now
