So it's kind of like how you go to a new country and you're forced to speak that language. And I think it's after a month of being there or three months of being there, I can't remember the rule. You basically just like your brain is able to fully understand the language and you're practically fluent in it. That's essentially what they're trying to mimic with her coming and staying with them and only speaking English there

And you really have to love kids. You just can't be, I like kids. They're okay. You have to love them because you are expected to spend almost 100% of your time helping out with these kids. And as an older sibling, if you actually were an older sibling, there's a lot of the times where you could just tell your parents, hey, I need a break from this d*** household. I'm going out, I'm getting something

That's really cool. I think it would be. That would be a really cool opportunity to be able to, like, go to a foreign country and kind of, like, obviously you're working, but, like, everything is kind of taken care of for you. Like, you don't have to find room aboard. You already have, like, a a job lined up where you kind of just, like, live in that house and take care of the kids

But she is super excited right now. I'm super excited for her and it sounds like it's going to be a great experience. I also do know that there are some families who specifically stay away from female au pairs because there have been scandals in the past of husbands cheating on their wives. So they now only specifically search for male repairs. I don't know anything about murders though. Maybe I should look into that just because there are probably some crazy stories or movies and books about it

Hey, Katie, thanks for your response. It does sound pretty amazing. I'm super stoked for her, and I think it's also just, like, a great experience, especially at this age, like when you're really young. Maybe you just got out of college and you still want to go travel, but you don't really have the budget for it. So I'm sure she'll be sending me loads of pictures and I'll be really jealous pretty soon

It's a little crazy, but it's interesting as well. If I like to do that, I mean, I could do it. Not yet, I'm still interested, but if I ever felt like doing it, I think I could do it. But I don't know. I do love children a lot. I don't even mind taking care of a very young baby which is just born. Because for a baby like that, you need to have full on attention like every second
