Teacher’s Journal: Mental Health Day

And think about taking that on a room with 30 kids every day while trying to teach and also being part of a system that manages across classrooms, in the hallways and all that. And there's a lot of things to manage. I know one teacher and I never really did this before because it kind of made me feel guilty sometimes. And also like what will happen when I'm not there and that sort of thing

And sometimes I have the staff tell me you need to be off, and sometimes I can't because it's so much work. We get wrapped up in work and we think we can't do it. But yes, we really do need to take off. And it's great that you took off. And sometimes we need to walk away from situations so that we can rebalance ourselves and start back fresh. I could not agree with you more. It's so funny, the timing of this. I actually did that. Excuse me. On Tuesday took a mental health day because I literally, I woke up in the morning, I had the worst attitude right in my head, and I just did not want to go to work. And I'm like, you know what? I'm exhausted. I'm mad. I'm angry about a lot of behind the scenes things
