You relax, sit back, watch a kaleidoscope of scenery going past and the pace is still slow for you to take in many exciting things like the wonders of nature. But train travel is today extremely difficult for elders. The stations are vast. For instance, Chennai. You have the central station which is really huge. And you have to walk quite a bit to reach your compartment. Luckily for us, there are buggies and there are wheelchairs, which is decidedly a great improvement
