Everyone's outlet is different because we are all different. You can journal, meditate, talk to friends. There are so many different ways to cope with emotions and it is important to find what works best for you as an individual

Once I was talking to my son, who was very young, and he had big emotions and he was very angry, and we kind of journaled it out. And during that one session, it helped a lot. We described his emotions as being like a volcano and how disruptive, destructive they could be, but also how I knew how he had to vent and that that was important, not to bottle up those emotions and to prevent bigger explosions
